Spiritual Direction... seeks to help a person grow in his/her relationship with God and to explore the impact of this relationship upon the person’s everyday life.
Pastoral Counseling...offers individual and group therapy while also taking into account a person’s spiritual values and one’s relationship with God.
Inner Healing...is a process that brings to consciousness, memories, traumas, and relationships of the past that are still unmanageable and painful to remember. With God’s mercy and grace, all types of unresolved grief and personal, family and work related wounds could be relieved and healed.
Art Therapy involves the guidance of an art therapist who will help explore your personal and professional areas of potential growth and development through art expressions and creativity.
Healing the Mother and Father Wounds: Understanding the unique contributions made by our mother and father will help each person understand the value of the adult life skills given by our parents and how each of us can live life to the full when our container (given by our father) does not leak and we have enough of the fluid of life (given by our mother). Without enough of each the container and fluid we will struggle with time and money management, understanding relationships and attract co-dependent people, unable to maintain healthy boundaries, over work, over function and over invest in the care of others.
EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a method of psychotherapy that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches. To date, EMDR has helped an estimated two million people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress. For EMDRIA's clinical definition of EMDR. Please go to emdria.org
Massage Therapy & Breath and Body work... is a combined process of breath and body techniques that can help release frozen feelings, paralyzing fears, oppressive shame and guilt, and psychosomatic symptoms and help a person integrate feelings and emotions and release those memories that keeps a person from living life to the full. Massage Therapy...using various modalities to help individuals become more at home with their body, experience relaxation and assistance in relieving muscle pain, assist in the overall healing of the muscular and neuromuscular systems and provide therapeutic healing.
Ritual Grieving occurs when a significant loss has not been properly grieved and reconciled. Especially in experiences such as prenatal loss (miscarriage, still-birth), crib-death, abortion, suicide and homicide. When such significant losses are left unresolved a person could be left in grief and trauma for many years. Through the guidance of one of our staff you will learn how to name the attached losses through loss letters and create a ritual for grieving so that resolution and relief can occur. The rituals for grieving include the Prayer for Reconciliation and the Prayer for Departed Souls.
Art Exploration & Integration – a simple art expression and projective technique that allows the artist to explore undeveloped and unnamed inner potential and clarify why a person may be stuck and how to get unstuck. Learn the archetypes of color, configuration, the four-centers, two polarities: masculine and feminine, and numerous archetypes that give expression to our deepest longings.
Dreams, Archetypes and Symbols of Transformation are unique pathways to discover God’s forgotten language and how to listen for what is in order and what is out of order.
